Sorry for the noob question. But how do these work? Never seen one but they seem like a cool idea. Oh well can someone fill me in?

Usually they have a gas filled one(green gas), pull the pin, throw and the gas propels the bb's, they kinda suck and are heavy.
Other than that some people just use a firecraker, bb's and an egg or toilet roll and it works much better and cheaper.
IAA hasn't had a deep discusion on Grenades but tennis balls are frenquently used. Just say GRENADE and throw, 10 ft kill radius.

Once March rolls around I'm going to buy a bulk of Easter Eggs and spray paint them green or black and then Buy a bulk of Firecrackers so I will have grenades for the team.
Design- Fill eggs with corn (hard) or used bbs, insert firecraker fuse throught tiny hole in top of egg, close egg and wrap egg 3 times with electrical tap (up and down on so egg looks like football seams and one around the part the eggs attach), light fuse and toss ;D
+add a little baking soda for smoke/visual effect
These will be pretty easy to make and are very cheap until I can get Thumper T-6

I've decided to stop my ACU loadout for now so this should free up a couple hundred dollars for some stuff. I'm thinking of getting this Thumper TG-6 grenade that was featured in Tactical Airsoft & Milsim magazine. It's about $119.00 for a starter kit but it can be used as either a grenade or stun grenade. www.nltm.us/thumper.html
