I just have a walmart two way. I will be upgrading in the next few weeks now that my g/f is working again and I seem to have a little extra cash.

what range should the radios have on them and how many frequency's should they have i.e. what is recomended

I would just get a Motorola Talkabout since everyone stick with simple FRS frecquency.
