i should be ordering this gun from airsoft g.i. monday. it seemed to have good reviews and would be a great secondary weapon for 145$. any thoughts guys???

One of our guys has the Tokyo Mauri version, and it sucks... The accuracy is crap because of the rediculusly short barrel and the battery is a nightmare to get in and out (he actually leaves it in all the time now and straps a battery to the outside when the stock one is dead). Since Echo 1 clones TM it will likely be almost exactly the same. In my opinion, there is no better secondary than a nice GBB pistol. What is your primary gun?

full metal d boys ris m4 1x red dot scope. i have 180$ to spend on a second weapon any thoughts? there just alot to look at for this noob!

I know I'll probably get flak for this, cuz most people who mention it do, but why not get a sniper for a secondary gun? It has more functionality now that you already have an AEG.
However, if you did. I would go with the G36C not the MP5. It's more solid. Plus you can get the Version 3 of JG for only $115 at evike.com

p.s. after much internet searching and reviews I've come to the conclusion that JG and Echo 1 are almost the same brand, however JG seems to be better for your wallet. So unless you're going to get a $300+ gun why not save the extra $25-50 and get the JG over the Echo 1.

Echo 1 is a rebrand of JG. Echo 1 restamps their guns and throws in a couple internal stuff and gives it a 45 day warranty. That's why there's a dollar difference between the two.

Ive looked at so many guns online. Ive decided to go up to Kzoo to Empire Airsoft and look around there.

well i went up to KZOO and Ill just say that was 3hrs of my life Ill never get back. On thier web site there was at least 10 AEGs under 130$. In there store they had 2, the fat ass Steve that worked there acted like he didnt want to help me find anything. It was just a joke. Ihope none of you waste your time at Youngs/Empire..
So any way I bought a JG G36C ver.3 for 115$ from airsoft gi to day w/ free shipping, and Im happy... Poser out...
