batteries are your number 1 problem in the winter. They lose their charge rapidly which causes malfunctions and a gun that won't cycle. Your gearbox is also vulnerable during the cold. Parts become more brittle and gearboxes themselves tend to break too. Weather and the cold is another reason. Winter is more of an off season for airsoft. Gives time for people to relax and gear up for March. Their are always games but for the majority it's a no go.
