I'm reposting this in this section for newcomers interested in airsoft and those who may want to join up.
Here's the info:
Where: Section 8 home field just south of Lafayette
Driving Directions:
GOOGLE MAPS Directions
MAPQUEST Directions
Required waiver is HERE Since the waivers have been updated you will need a new waiver!
IAA skirmish rules PLEASE know them!
Field specific rules/suggestions on top of normal IAA rules:
Bright red death rag (not part of a death rag) required. If you don't have one they will be $1 at registration
Water required (unlimited tap water is available to you, so at least bring a container). Limited water bottles will be available for $1 at registration.
Bring something to eat that is safe after sitting outside in the heat of the day and won't let bugs in.
Bring a watch to keep track of bleedouts
Recommended to have a 2-way radio
Game Specific Restrictions:
If you are new and do not have a rifle feel free to come out any way. Section 8 has limited rental guns please post if you will need one. Rental Form
Mag Restrictions: No Magazine Restrictions but Lo/Std/Mid preferred
Support Gunner Roles are not limited but if you are new or old to airsoft try to bring out a rifle anyway.
Team Seperation: Hats/No Hats (EVERYONE BRING A HAT) We won't know teams until everyone has arrived. Boonie hats preferable Patrol Caps next best thing. No black or Dark Brown baseball caps. Full head wraps will work as a Hat. A full face mask will NOT
Age Restrictions:
No age restrictions 16+
14 and 15: you will need to run with your team or with your parent/guardian
13 and younger: You will need to stay with your parent/guardian at all times during the game
Medic system:
Each player will be given 2 ropes. 1 colored and 1 white
Any player can heal you by tying 5 knots in your white rope.
ONLY Medics on your team can heal you by tying 5 knots in your colored rope.
When both ropes have been tied or you have bleed out you must respawn and untie your knots.
5 minute bleedouts.
Any player may move a wounded player with contact (dragging not required)
(Please Leave the rope at the registration table after the event)

Registration/chrono at 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Field briefing at 9:45 AM
Game Start at ~10:15 AM
Game End at ~5 PM

Back story:
New recruits for the slaughter have no time for formal boot camp luckily the enemy has the same issue. Veterans and Noobs Unite to fight and die for who knows what reason. There will be skirmishes and (hopefully) training.
