Hey guys,
I have checked in on this team several times now and have never really gotten anywhere. The addition of forums is going to make this a whole lot easier! Anyway. I will certainly check in here often and hope to get to know the team here soon. I was wondering...have you located a practice field/indoor location in the Michiana area?

Hey, Jason. I have tried sending you PMs on the IAA forum and never really got any responses, so don't think we've been ignoring you!
We actually have a really, REALLY nice field that we may be allowed to skirmish in, but there is one problem: It is located in woods literally within eyesight of the US20 bypass. I am going to meet with the guy that owns it and wal kthe field, but we'll have to be careful not to venture into the vision of passing traffic. It is also used for hunting (the guy raises birds and he releases them for hunters on his field) so we'll have to be sure to only head out on dates when the guy DOESN'T have people shooting live rounds.
We're still looking for better options, though!

Good to hear. I am actually going out of town for business from April 1-July 20ish, but if there is a training get-together prior to me leaving that would be great. Otherwise I'll stay informed here and catch you guys in August.

Hey guys!
I found you site while looking around for people who play airsoft around me. I just have an ebay special plastic airsoft gun but wanted to see how I like it before I invest the $$ on a good one. I see you guys are looking for a place to play. If interested I may be able to get you a wooded lot off of south locust street. Don't know exactly how big it is but it's big enough to cut trails through and goes back pretty far. The property is my wife's parents house so I should be able to swing something. Would like to meet up with you guys so let me know.
Thanks Ryan

Hey how's it going, where are you located? So you have an Ebay gun, get a JG or Echo 1 gun. That ebay crap won't give you the rush your looking for. It'll go twack twack and break right in the middle of a skirmish. JG and Echo 1 are less than $150 on their newest upgraded models. They go as low as $115 on Evike.com or Airsoftgi.com. They are already upgraded to 350 FPS(gives you a little more bang for the buck, especially if your new) and are on par with Tokyo Marui. All you need to play is a decent gun, full seal goggles, bb's, camo, and an extra battery/Hi-cap magazine. All of this comes out around$100 or less. Buy that and come out to some skirmishes and see if your interested in the hobby. By the way, how did you come accross airsoft? July 21st there is a skirmish at Blast Camp in Hobart/Portage IN, the last 2 games have seen over 100 people. Plenty of firefights and you'll learn a little faster. Cost is $28 and I starts at 10:30. I should be able to make this game if my manager lets me switch days but still try to make the game since it's probally the closest one near South Bend (about an 45-60 min drive) For more info visit www.indianaaa.proboards59.com/index.cgi also visit Blastcamp.com for more info on the OP. Blastcamp requires a Paintball mask or covering of the face.EasyCheez and I have been craving destruction being it's been a couple of months since we've shot at people so yeah, we're cravin it. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I live off Cleveland road by UP mall on Bajer Lane. My wife's parents own the wooded property off of south locus road. It's the wooded area behind the south bruno's resterant.
I got into airsoft when I played with my buddies AK47 at his house. I got the ebay special just to shoot around my house during bon fires. Yes I know it sucks but my kids like them. I know all about blast camp. I have shot paintballs there. I also have a tippman 98 custom if you ever want to shoot paint. As for getting a new gun I am one step ahead of you. I am paying friday for a Tokyo Mauri M733. Comes with Systema speed up gears, M110 highpowered spring, (2) 160 rd mag, (1) 68 rd mag, goggles, 2 extra batteries, High speed bat charger. Also I have over 8000 rounds in my garage already so I am good there.
As for this sat I am already booked so I can't make it out. I could prob swing sunday. The following Sat I have to work but am open on sunday. I should have my new gun sometime next week.
Let me know if you guys want to shoot and I can work something out with the inlaws.

Hey Stash... Do me a favor and send me an e-mail at mfl_football@yahoo.com and I can give you membership info there.
As JiNx points out, summer has been rough so far. We've all been really busy and haven't had time to link up and play.
Welcome to the forums, btw!

Ok I talked to my mother in law last night when we were over there. We are welcome to use the woods when ever we want. There are just a couple things. 1. If anyone gets hurts she is not responsible (play at own risk) 2. Clean up after ourselves 3. Don't block driveway 4. watch out for poison ivy (lol!!) 5. Don't shoot dirt bikes or 4 wheelers if out there. Neighbors do use trails sometimes.
Thats it. You guys now have a field to practice in. she said the property is roughly 5 wooded acres with mowed trails all over the place.
My gun should be here this week so let me know if you want to play. my cell 574-315-0083.
