Is there one? If so how old? Reason I ask is because one of our friends oldest boy is around 16 and I know that he has 3-4 or so friends that play in there backyard. Just trying to get your numbers up I guess and since I hate working I am using your site to kill time during the day. Sry if I am blowing up your boards... LOL! ;D

We don't have an age requirement, per say. Generally speaking we try to keep people above the age of 18 for a few reasons. First off, SOME places don't allow kids under 18 to play w/o lots of restrictions, i.e. parental consent forms and such. This is slowly becoming a bit more lax because a lot of younger players have joined the IAA (like lingling) that are actually very good players. Also, in the case of lingling, his dad also plays. That REALLY relaxes the worry that we have about getting sued. Hard to sue if the dad was right beside him while playing. ;-) Also as the IAA grows we have more IAA teams with fields. These teams know each other so if one team vouches for an individual the rest of the IAA figures he's trustworthy.
The other more personal reason why we try to limit under-18 membership is because I am a teacher in South Bend. In the Myspace era it'd be really easy for a sophomore to post pictures of their econ teacher in military garb with an assault rifle and spread it around amongst their friends. Viola, the next day I am getting called into the office to answer questions.
In a nutshell - We don't let under-18s on the team unless they are vouched for. We are definitely open to consider exceptions.

I understand completely. If anything I could only vouch for 1 or them, and only after I talked with his mom. I was thinking more if they wanted to scrim with us at my wife's parents house. It would be kool to get more numbers out there.

Awesome man. Let me know when it's going down. I will do my best to make it. I'm saving up to get a decent gun. But Jinx said something about getting just a gun and then giving him some money and he will mod it with internal and other stuff. But yeah

Yeah, I mean my gun (not including gear and magazines) cost me around $500-$600. Then we get guys with $150-$200 stock JG/Echo 1 guns and they are every bit as good (if not better) than I am. Just owning a DECENT AEG and then spending money over time to upgrade it will get you on the field. And, truthfully, a stock Echo 1 or JG will outperform a top-of-the-line Tokyo Marui out of the box, it just won't be as reliable. My recommendation is to get a gun and then, as stuff breaks, replace it with better Systema/King Arms/Prometheus parts.
When all else fails most of us have several AEGs we can spot you while Jinx fixes your gun.

dude devin u can use my mp5 at matches. I use my m733 all the time and only use mp5 if m733 goes down. I will shop around for a decent gun at a good price and we can go from there.
