This is an idea that just got kicked around in the IAA Round Table so I wanted to expand the discussion to our forum and get some feedback.
Setup: We've started a brief discussion about expanding a new velocity limit of 500-550fps for bolt-action rifles. The user would need to be over 18, certified by the IAA to fulfill that role, and be accompanied by a spotter.
I brought up the idea of qualifications for multiple IAA positions. Things like, for example, at any IAA event you can attempt a "marksmen" qualification. There would need to be a set number of IAA senior members present and you'd need to do something like fire 20 BBs at 20 Styrofoam cups from a range of like 130 feet. If you hit 18 of the 20 you're officially a "marksmen."
So, first off, we here at the Ruff Ryders *NEED* to start doing this. Instead of just going out and shooting it up it might be an awesome idea to have all of us take qualifications tests.
Secondly, what other tests can you think of that would be worth exploring?

I knw this is a old thread but i think thats a great idea. If we take this seriously we as a sport and group should be taken more seriously. I also think we should after qualifications members should have a expert weapons classifications such as rifles , pistols, smg, lmg. Depending on that members weapons. I belive ca find patches that coordinate w/ classification. Poser out...
